Jenn Johnson

My love for web graphics and design started with designing wallpapers and contributing to various fan websites. As a result of being a fan of Jane Seymour and having created computer desktop images, I was chosen to create the official Jane Seymour Calendar for two years running, that was the beginning.

It wasn't long until I started Sapphire Designs Inc. located in Tennessee. Since then I have worked on everything from Book Covers, Children's Illustration, CD's, Magazine covers,
Websites, and even Tattoos.

I have studied at the Art Institue of Pittsburgh for over 2 years and am working towards my Bachelor's Degree.

I hold dreams of becoming a published author and designing my own book cover.

Born during the age of disco, I'm originally from Upstate New York, now living in Ohio. I'm unmarried with no children since I'm attached to my computer at the hip and men don't really want to date computers!

After a two year stint in college for Paralegal Studies, which didn't quite work out once I started working for a few lawyers who shall remain nameless, I turned to internet projects. In 1997 I began my first webpage for fanfic authors who knew nothing of HTML and yet wanted to share their stories with the Highlander fandom http://www.amethyst-night.com.

Since then I have been addicted to coding and learning small tips and tricks to make websites look good without taking too long to load ... I'm on dial-up and it's a real pet-peeve to wait five minutes for a graphics intense page to load.

My goals include finishing a full length book if only my characters would ever care to cooperate when I'm actually able to write or type.

In the meantime, I continue to do HTML coding and create graphic backgrounds for websites. My primary tools of the trade are email, Microsoft Word, WordPad, Paint Shop Pro and sometimes Adobe Photoshop.

For Sapphire Designs, I do the majority of the HTML coding.
